Swimply, the popular pool sharing marketplace, has spotlighted five Phoenix area pools among the best in the country for the year 2025 as part of the Swimply Choice Awards:
1. Backyard Water Park with Lazy River in Gilbert– recognized by Swimply as the area’s #1 Choice Award recipient, this pool features a 30-foot water slide, an island hot tub, a lazy river, basketball hoops, and more.

2. Ahwatukee Tropical Resort in Phoenix – a heated pool with 2 waterfalls, a raised jumping deck and a 6-foot Baja deck, recognized by Swimply as the area’s #2 Choice Award recipient.
3. The Modern Salt Pool in Mesa – a salt water pool with grotto, waterfall, hot tub and spa set off by phenomenal lighting, recognized by Swimply as the area’s #3 Choice Award recipient.
4. Pet Friendly Pool with Putting Green in Phoenix – a pet friendly large pool with putting green, water features and fire pit that was recognized by Swimply with a Pet Paradise Award.
5. Dog-friendly Pool & Patio Lounge in Mesa – a serene dog-friendly pool that was also recognized by Swimply with a Pet Paradise Award.
These pools were awarded based on a combination of exceptional hosting, breathtaking design, and providing the best experiences in their city. While annual bookings or revenue were not part of the selection criteria, these pool hosts earned between $3K-$18K in 2025 on the Swimply platform.
There are many others in Arizona also earning additional income by sharing their pool, hot tub or spa – including in Chander, Paradise Valley, Tempe, Glendale, Goodyear and elsewhere.
