The Phoenix office of Cramer-Krasselt, the nation’s second-largest independent integrated marketing agency, has been tapped as agency of record for Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau (MCCVB).
C-K will handle brand strategy and positioning, advertising, media planning and buying, as well as generating word-of-mouth/talk value for the breathtaking areas of Monterey County. C-K competed against other agencies in a search conducted by a committee comprised of MCCVB board members and staff.
“C-K brought keen insights and knowledge about our destination and used those understandings to bring our brand to life in a highly creative way,” said Rob O’Keefe, MCCVB’s chief marketing officer.
The new brand campaign, “Grab Life by the Moments,” was unveiled to thunderous applause by a packed room of members at the recent MCCVB annual membership meeting, and will debut in October in print, online and events. “The campaign focuses on all the amazing moments you can experience in Monterey, layered with a carpe diem attitude toward life,” said Ian Barry, C-K’s senior vice president and executive creative director.
Kristin Bloomquist, EVP, General Manager of C-K Phoenix added, “We are thrilled to be working alongside the MCCVB and its stakeholders. Monterey County is such a special destination. The goal of the campaign is to drive real business growth while showcasing all that makes the region unique.”
