AZ Golf Insider Magazine has ranked Mirabel Golf Club in North Scottsdale the best private golf club in Arizona.
“Mirabel is exceedingly pleased to have been ranked as the best private golf club in Arizona, especially knowing those who responded to the poll were largely members of other private clubs and/or guests of our own members,” says Michael Ryan, the general manager at Mirabel.
Earlier this year, members of the Arizona Golf Association took part in a survey to choose the top 10 public and private clubs out of the of the state’s more than 350 courses. In addition to being chosen as the No. 1 private course, Mirabel scored high marks when it came to questions about its clubhouse, dining, pro shop, individual holes and best overall experience.
“Our Tom Fazio-designed course, spectacular setting and high level of service sets us apart from other clubs,” Ryan says. “We pride ourselves on making member satisfaction our No. 1 priority and think we really go above and beyond to ensure Mirabel is a wonderful experience for our members and guests.”
Mirabel has been regularly recognized by Golfweek, GOLF Magazine and The Arizona Republic as among the best private golf clubs in the U.S.
“With the Arizona Golf Association representing a broad spectrum of the golfing population, what this award from that affinity group means to me is that recognition for the Mirabel Experience has transcended the boundaries of a private club and now exists within Arizona golf as a whole,” Ryan says.
The member owned and controlled club recently voted to lower the total number of golf memberships from 350 to 275 and social memberships from 125 to 50. Property ownership within the community is not required for membership, but those interested should act quickly. Membership is “invitation only.”
