There are a lot of cranes operating in Arizona as developers pursue new projects that are creating a more diverse state. Here are six projects that were recently finished or broke ground in Arizona, as seen in the September/October issue of AZRE magazine.

Cliff Castle Casino Hotel

START/COMPLETION: February 2016 – July 2017
The six-story project consists of a three-level, 300-car precast parking structure, assembly/banquet hall facility, enclosed swimming pool, ancillary retail space and addition onto the casino.

The development will feature dock-high and ground level doors, ESFR sprinkler systems, large truck courtyards, cross-dock loading in Building 2 and ample employee parking spaces.
The Fulton Schools Residential Community at Tooker House

The Fulton Schools Residential Community at Tooker House is a 1,600-person, co-ed residential community for undergraduate students in ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. The seven-story, “dorm built for engineers” features on-site digital classrooms, state-of-the-art makerspaces complete with 3-D printers, laser cutters and design tools needed for a broad range of engineering courses and projects.
