There are a lot of cranes operating in Arizona as developers pursue new projects that are creating a more diverse state. Here are six projects that were recently finished or broke ground in Arizona, as seen in the September/October issue of AZRE magazine.

Arista at Ocotillo is a luxury apartment Located within the master-planned Ocotillo community in Chandler, Arista at Ocotillo features luxury apartment with Santa Barbara-style exteriors with arched walkways, offers studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom loft floor plans in a prime location close to near upscale casual dining, the DMB Village Health Club and premiere retail at The Shops at Ocotillo.

Cliff Castle Casino Hotel

The six-story project consists of a three-level, 300-car precast parking structure, assembly/banquet hall facility, enclosed swimming pool, ancillary retail space and addition onto the casino.

Majestic Tempe Commerce Center

The development will feature dock-high and ground level doors, ESFR sprinkler systems, large truck courtyards, cross-dock loading in Building 2 and ample employee parking spaces.

The Fulton Schools Residential Community at Tooker House

The Fulton Schools Residential Community at Tooker House is a 1,600-person, co-ed residential community for undergraduate students in ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. The seven-story, “dorm built for engineers” features on-site digital classrooms, state-of-the-art makerspaces complete with 3-D printers, laser cutters and design tools needed for a broad range of engineering courses and projects.

A broad range of high-end retailers, restaurants and fitness centers will be located alongside adjacent luxury residences. JLB Partners will develop the residential component that will boast over 300 units, a rooftop exercise clubhouse and pool.
