Starting September 11, Valley residents can enjoy a unique indoor farmers market. Renegade by MOD has partnered with 94 Hundred Corporate Center and the North Scottsdale Farmers’ Market to bring “We Keep it Local Wednesdays” to the Shea Corridor.
The name pays homage to the local music, farmers and artisans set to display at the new market. Each month those who attend will be able to enjoy live music, and taste food samples from acclaimed chef Michael O’Dowd. There will also be fresh and local produce, grass-fed meats, cage-free eggs and hand-made, artisan gifts available for purchase.
Some local growers and vendors who have already signed on to this unique market include: Circle Key Farms, Alaskan Pride Seafood, Arizona Honey Market, AZ Food Labs, Gourmet Blends and Dorota Botanicals.
The inaugural market will will be a patriotic event with a portion of the proceeds made that evening donated to the families of the fallen heroes of the Yarnell Hill Fire. Local Southern rockers the 74th Street Band will entertain crowds with their energetic live music.
“ We Keep It Local Wednesday” will be held monthly from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month at 9343 E. Shea Blvd., Suite 115.
