“Taking it to the Capitol: Legislative Lessons” will be the topic at the Arizona Association for Economic Development’s (AAED) January luncheon. It will be held on Jan. 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at 2901 N. Seventh St. in Phoenix.
Speakers will be Sen. Karen Fann (R-Prescott), Sen. Sean Bowie (D-Chandler), Eric Emmert, vice president, Dorn Policy Group, and Cheryl Lombard, president/CEO, Valley Partnership.
They will share information about what’s on the mind of legislators as the new legislative session approaches, as well as the status of current economic development policies and upcoming changes. There will also be discussion on strengthening individual skillsets to become a successful advocate for economic development.
