See award-winning director Julie Taymor bring animals to life in this Broadway musical. Enjoy the heartfelt rhythms of African Pridelands and the wonderful music from Elton John and Tim Rice.

Oct. 25th, 26th, and 27th: Arizona Jazz Festival
Dance the night away at the Arizona Jazz Festival this entire weekend to more than 20 of the world’s top jazz artists, including Erykah Badu, Maxwell and Robin Thicke!

Oct. 25th, 26th, and 27th: 7th Annual Wild Western Festival 



Take a trip back to the wild, wild west and enjoy live music, gunfights, stunt shows and even let the little ones play at the kids corral. You may even see one of your favorite classic Hollywood western TV or movie stars!

Oct. 26th: Hallowe’en & Zombie Walk 5 Festival
This one’s a no-brainer. This spooktacular event will consist of live music, a Rose & Crown Beer garden, make-up artists, a canned food drive, and a march of more than 10,000 zombies through Downtown Phoenix!

October 26th: Scottsdale’s Fall Festival
Grab your scariest costume and celebrate with Scottsdale! This fall festival is the perfect way for friends and family to get involved in safe but still fun Halloween festivities. There will be game booths, haunted forests, food, fireworks entertainment and a “Tots Alley” for the little ones. You have the chance to win sweet treats at game booths and in costume contests.

Calling all artists and sugar skull lovers! The Annual El Dia de los Muertos Celebration is where you want to be this weekend. Enjoy everything from an artist Mercado showcasing of an assortment of traditional and contemporary merchandise, jewelry, and crafts from local artists. There will be live artist demonstrations, artist workshops, alter contests, hands-on educational activities, live traditional music and dance and a variety of food to indulge in!
