Downtown Phoenix has become a hot spot for multifamily housing developments as more and more people look to live in or near downtown. Here are seven Downtown Phoenix housing developments that are currently under construction.

EcoPhx
True sustainable living will meet apartment living at EcoPhx soon. Currently under construction on the southwest corner of 3rd Avenue and Roosevelt Street, this structure will be home to 70 apartments and over 3,300 square feet of retail space. The solar-powered building will offer traditional apartment amenities as well as a car-share program and greywater recycling.
Moon Tower
The dream of living in the heart of the Roosevelt Row Arts District has come true. Moon Tower is set to be completed in Summer 2023, located off 3rd Street. Once completed, the multifamily complex will offer deluxe amenities such as a rooftop pool and lounge, coworking spaces for young professionals and a private courtyard. Texas coffee chain Fleet Coffee Co. will open on the ground floor.
Skye on 6th
Also located in the Roosevelt Row Arts District, Skye on 6th offers easy access to all the sports complexes, arts and culture venues and nightlife Phoenix has to offer. The luxury apartment building will offer amenities with a focus on health and wellness to include a full fitness center complete with a sauna, steam room, and outdoor pool and spa. The project is set to be completed in summer 2023.
PALMTower
This multifamily residential tower is ready to pave the way for luxurious living in Downtown Phoenix. Adjacent to the Arizona Center, PALMTower is within walking distance of many bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. Within the complex, a vast number of amenities are available including but not limited to an outdoor pool, resident’s club, indoor and outdoor yoga spaces and a private dog park. This project is expected to be completed in mid-late 2024.
Central Station
Talk about real downtown living. Central Station is scheduled to open in 2024 on the corner of Van Buren Street and Central Avenue. The project will be complete with two towers offering more than 300 luxury apartments and more than 600 student housing beds for the Arizona State University downtown campus. The rest of the two buildings will be filled with 60,000 square feet of retail and 30,000 square feet of office space.
X Phoenix II
Much like its recently completed counterpart, X Phoenix II will be a residential high-rise geared toward young professionals. The new building is adjacent to Phase I on the corner of Van Buren Street and 2nd Avenue, and expected to be completed in mid-late 2024. The buildings will eventually connect at the amenities floor. Phase II will offer an additional 352 units and amenities such as a rooftop dog run and 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor fitness space.
Saiya
Proposed to be completed in Summer 2024, Saiya will be a multifamily high-rise offering over 350 units on the corner of 1st Avenue and McKinley Street. In the construction phase, the developers plan to preserve the historic McKinley Medical Office building. Once completed the units will be accompanied by amenities including outdoor pools, courtyards, fitness center, game room, dog park and rooftop kitchen.
