More than 200 people from across Arizona’s commercial real estate, construction, property management, and facilities community came together Thursday afternoon for one reason: to help save a life. “Bowling for Bailey”, held at Lucky Stike, formerly Bowlero Old Town, sold out completely and became a powerful reminder of what can happen when good people rally around someone in need.

Organized in just over five weeks, the sold-out event became a powerful demonstration of the Arizona business community coming together to support one of its own during an incredibly difficult time.

The event was organized in support of Ryan Bailey, who is currently battling stage 4 colon cancer with liver metastasis. Faced with overwhelming medical costs, treatment decisions, and the emotional weight that comes with a fight like this, the Arizona CRE community responded immediately and they responded together.

Those who know Ryan describe him as the kind of person who has always shown up for others which made the industry’s response feel deeply personal.

A major reason the event gained momentum so quickly was the committee behind it. What came together in just one day was essentially a dream team, an all-star group made up of some of the Valley’s most respected business development professionals, relationship builders, property management professionals, connectors, marketers, operators, and community leaders.

The committee included Abby Vallelonga of EHS Restoration, Brianna Parette of EVO Construction Group, Mai Vu of Elevate Commercial Real Estate, Michael Scott of Weems Asphalt, Sarah Temple of Upland Group, Ginger Morton of Ghaster Painting, Tiffany Pennington of Encore Landscape Management , and Tom Pritscher of TEPCON Construction each bringing their own relationships, energy, reputation, and ability to mobilize people quickly.

The committee represented multiple corners of the industry contractors, vendors, facility leaders, property management professionals, business developers, friends, family members, and community supporters all coming together under one mission.

The group operated like a championship team. Everybody brought their own strengths, networks, ideas, and energy, but nobody cared about credit. Zero egos. Just a shared mission to help Ryan Bailey.

The speed and scale of what this committee accomplished in only five weeks was remarkable.

“Watching this group work was incredible,” said Tom Pritscher, President of TEPCON Construction. “It honestly felt like an all-star team. The best of the best in our industry came together, checked their egos at the door, and just went to work for Ryan.”

The event was packed with people who simply wanted to help.

One of the most powerful parts of the event wasn’t just the fundraising success it was the humility exchange that was felt throughout the room.

Competitors became teammates. Titles didn’t matter. Zero egos. Just people coming together for something bigger than themselves. People listened, hugged, laughed, cried, and gave generously without needing recognition. There was a genuine sense that everybody understood something bigger was happening than just a fundraiser. For a few hours, an entire industry slowed down long enough to remind itself of what really matters: people, community, and showing up when somebody needs you most.

“You could feel it in the room,” Pritscher said. “People weren’t there for attention. They were there for Ryan. And when you get that many good-hearted people operating with humility and purpose at the same time, it’s powerful.”

What stood out most wasn’t just the turnout or the fundraising it was the spirit behind it.

Relationships turned into action. People gave their time, money, energy, and platforms without asking for recognition. It was the best version of industry.

The event highlighted two powerful stories unfolding at once: First, the ongoing fight Ryan Bailey is facing with courage and resilience every single day. Second, the extraordinary response from an industry that refused to sit on the sidelines.
