Tucson-based HSL Properties has purchased two local multifamily, garden-style properties, Casas Lindas Apartment Homes and Springhill Apartment Homes, for $37.43 million from California-based MG Properties. The deal closed on June 28.
“At HSL Properties, we say, ‘It’s About Community!,’ because we specialize in offering communities for our apartment residents,” said Omar Mireles, President of HSL Properties. “Acquiring these two properties adds to our growing portfolio of apartment homes and gives even more people in Tucson options for finding their own apartment home.”
Casas Lindas Apartment Homes, which was purchased for $17.65 million, at 699 W. Magee Road, features one- and two-bedroom floor plans with in-unit washers and dryers, wood-burning fireplaces and patios or balconies. Community features include a basketball court, pool, fitness center, clubhouse and covered parking.
Springhill Apartment Homes, which was purchased for $19.78 million, at 8030 E. Lakeside Parkway, offers one- and two-bedroom floor plans with full-size washer and dryers, oversized closets, ceiling fans and balconies. The complex is within walking distance to Lakeside Park. Community features include access to a fitness facility, covered parking, pool and barbecue grills.
The acquisitions of Casas Lindas and Springill are the latest for HSL Properties, which, together with its affiliates, owns 38 other apartment communities in Arizona. For more information about HSL Properties, visit www.hslproperties.com.
