McCarthy Building Companies, a 100% employee-owned construction company in the Valley for over 50 years, announced plans to relocate its Phoenix regional office to a new, larger space staying within the Camelback Corridor. The new office, located near the 32nd Street and Camelback Road intersection at 3133 E. Camelback Road, is expected to open in late 2027 following a redesign and renovation period. McCarthy will occupy nearly 100,000 square feet of the building.

The move represents a significant milestone for McCarthy’s Southwest region, expanding the footprint of its current Phoenix office, designed to support the growing business, collaborative work culture, and diverse clients the company serves across the greater Phoenix metro.

“This is an investment in our people and in our future in Arizona,” said Justin Kelton, McCarthy’s Southwest Region CEO. “As we continue to grow to support Arizona’s evolving needs, we are creating a space that reflects who we are as an employee-owned company – one built for collaboration, connection, and the kind of culture that makes McCarthy a special place to build a career. This new space will do exactly that.”

McCarthy has been part of the greater Phoenix community for over 50 years and was intent on remaining in one of the Valley’s most accessible and well-connected business districts. The new location was selected with employees and clients in mind, centrally positioned to provide convenient access and amenities for all employees and visitors alike.

The company’s Southwest region serves clients across a range of sectors including health care, education, aviation, as well as the firm’s national businesses including data centers, renewable energy, battery and energy storage, and water/wastewater. The new space will focus on fostering collaboration, innovation, and shared culture that defines the way McCarthy’s teams work.

The new office further expands McCarthy’s footprint in Arizona, which includes the Innovation and Craft Workforce Center (ICWC) in Chandler — which serves over 2,000 regional craft professionals locally — its Prefabrication Facility in Chandler, and its new national Center for Learning and Development opening in Tempe in 2027.

Planning and construction of the new Phoenix office space will take place over the next 18–20 months. McCarthy was represented by Mark Seale of Stream Realty Partners; Andrew Cheney of Lee & Associates Arizona served as the listing broker.
