Hines, the international real estate firm, announced it has renewed Bryan Cave’s long-term 38,878-square-foot lease and signed a new 6,244-square-foot lease for Berkeley Research Group, LLC at Renaissance Square.
Bryan Cave, a law firm with more than 135 employees, has been located at Renaissance Square for 17 years.
“We are pleased to renew our lease at Renaissance Square and continue to take advantage of the close proximity to the courts and government and business centers. Bryan Cave is committed to supporting business in downtown Phoenix and serving our clients in Arizona and globally,” said Jay Zweig, office managing partner.
Berkeley Research Group (BRG) moved to Renaissance Square from a location north of Camelback Road on Central Avenue. The global strategic advisory and expert consulting firm has about 15 employees in its Phoenix office and more than 850 employees worldwide.
“As BRG continues its global expansion, with offices located in key markets throughout the world, we are delighted to have our Phoenix professionals based at Renaissance Square,” said Sebastien Belanger, BRG’s vice president of operations.
Both tenants are located at One Renaissance Square, a property owned by Hines.
“Renaissance Square’s downtown location, access to decision makers and proximity to mass transit make it a highly desirable destination for businesses,” said Steve Hamel, Hines’ general property manager.
John Pierson with JLL represented Bryan Cave, while Pierson and Trevor Pratt represented BRG. Pat Devine with Cushman & Wakefield represented Hines in both transactions.
