ViaWest Group selected Colliers International in Phoenix as the exclusive leasing agent for Biltmore Center, previously known as Biltmore Financial Center, a landmark Class-A office complex at the northwest corner of 24th Street and Camelback Road.

“The new ownership of Biltmore Center has embraced the evolution of office tenancy and is activating an environment that will differentiate Biltmore Center as the lead project at 24th and Camelback,” said Phil Breidenbach, executive vice president of Office Properties Solutions Group with Colliers. “We look forward to successfully marketing to and securing both traditional and next generation tenants seeking the amenities and workplace environment that make their enterprise prosper.”

Biltmore Center, largely recognized as the “place-to-be” in Greater Phoenix, sits in the heart of the Camelback Corridor and across the street from Biltmore Fashion Park. The Biltmore Center includes three towers with more than 635,000 square-feet of office space featuring on-site amenities such as a full-service health club, restaurant with a wine bar and outdoor fire pit in addition to a large high-tech conference space.

Built in the late 1980s, the property is 75 percent occupied. Current tenants include Northern Trust Bank, Fennemore Craig law firm, Evergreen Devco and Dentons. That doesn’t mean ViaWest Group and Colliers aren’t looking towards the future.

“We are so excited to have Colliers on our team at Biltmore Center,” said Steven Schwarz, founding partner of ViaWest Group. “They have a shared vision and understanding of how to activate this property to ensure it remains as the premier address for business within the Camelback Corridor.”

The complex is currently undergoing renovation to integrate state-of-the art technology and amenities for future generations of office users. The property’s marketing strategies will be as innovative as the tech and amenities, which Schwarz describes “as cutting-edge as anyone will have seen in Phoenix.”

“Combining a multitude of NAIOP award winners that includes ViaWest (Developer/Owner of the Year) as new owner of Biltmore Center (Transaction of the Year) and the Office Brokerage Team of the Year under Bob Mulhern, who received this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award is a combination that will ensure success,” he added.
