A record eight Arizona commercial real estate professionals recently earned the prestigious Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation by the CCIM Institute.
The designation was awarded to CCIM Central Arizona chapter members in a pinning ceremony at its fall meeting in October. A total of 228 new designees passed the comprehensive exam recently in San Diego.
The Central Arizona chapter had eight members receive their CCIM Designation. Central Arizona led the region with the most designees pinned. Newly pinned were:
Rebecca Bedford, CCIM, American Healthcare Investors; John Dunlap, CCIM, RRA Capital; Blake Hardison, CCIM, Keyserco Company; Clint Hardison, CCIM, Keyserco Company; Michael Marsh, CCIM, Lee & Associates; Trenton McCullough, CCIM, Levrose; Jason Reddington, CCIM, Levrose; and Randy Schneider, CCIM, Newmark Knight Frank.
“Through the CCIM Central Arizona chapter’s mission, and volunteer efforts, members have access to a comprehensive selection of commercial investment (CI) class programming in Arizona and throughout the region,” said Jenette Bennett, CCIM, Kidder Mathews, President of the CCIM Central Arizona chapter. “Those who are ready to put in the time for class work will have options that work for their schedule.”
Added Marina Hammersmith, CCIM, Ensemble Real Estate Solutions, and incoming chapter President for 2020: “We are looking forward to additional classes in 2020, including a development certification track.”
To earn the CCIM designation, commercial real estate professionals must complete more than 160 hours of case-study driven education covering topics such as interest-based negotiation, financial analysis, market analysis, user decision analysis, investment analysis, and ethics in commercial investment real estate. Candidates must also compile a portfolio demonstrating the depth of their commercial real estate experience and pass a comprehensive examination.
