Convenience and accessibility of affordable health care continue to drive demand for new developments across Maricopa County. LGE Design Build has begun construction in Goodyear for a 44,730-square-foot Adelante Healthcare facility scheduled to open August 2018.
The Goodyear site is the 10th location for Adelante Healthcare, a nonprofit provider of community-focused health services, and the first location in Arizona constructed from the ground up on an existing hospital campus to be. This new facility expands much-needed health care resources to a growing region of Arizona and offers the community access to more comprehensive health services including internal medicine, pediatrics, family care, dental and lab services, as well as same-day appointment opportunities, behavioral health and nutrition services.

LGE’s team pays extra attention to detail and truly thinks of the total environment of care.”
Designed by Douglas Cardinal, an award-winning architect from Ottawa best known for his landmark sustainability projects including the National Museum of the American Indian, this project’s design was inspired by the southwest landscape and Adelante’s humanitarian mission of providing care to underserved communities.

The design of the building will incorporate a variety of dramatic curves throughout, supporting the flow of how the space will be used by both patients and medical personnel.
There also will be an abundance of natural light to embrace all visitors to the facility. The site is located at 1371 W. Cornerstone, adjacent to the existing Abrazo West Campus. Total construction cost on this project is $4.7 million.
