Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. will officially open its newest service center, a 141-door facility located just south of I-10 this Friday, June 5.
The new Phoenix Service Center, located at 135 S. 79th Ave., Tolleson, AZ 85353, replaces a smaller facility at 2205 S. 43rd Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85009. The Thomasville, N.C.-based less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, which is over 80 years old, has operated in Phoenix for 20 years.
“With the opening of this 23 acre state of the art facility, we will have additional resources to help us continue delivering premium service.” said Gerry Mendoza, sales and service manager of the Phoenix Service Center. “These premium services — domestic LTL, global, expedited and household moving — enable Old Dominion to help our customers meet expectations that will make their job easier. Our ultimate goal is to make their business needs our business.”
The state-of-the-art Phoenix Service Center serves a number of cities in the area, including Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Peoria, Glendale, Tolleson, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Fountain Hills, Surprise, Casa Grande.
