Gateway Medical is a component of the Gilbert Hospital campus and is Nutex’s third facility in Arizona.  The 31,452-square-foot medical facility was built in 2005 and serves as a privately-run emergency facility.  It operates as a 42-bed acute care provider to the growing Gilbert, AZ community.  The property is situated in the heart of one of Greater Phoenix’ most vibrant suburbs.  The campus is directly across the street from Gateway Regional Airport, Arizona State University’s Polytechnic campus and Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Future plans in the area include creation of a sizable mixed-use development on the site of the former GM Proving Grounds.  That plan includes a 1,000+ room hotel and resort, a Gaylord Entertainment national convention, conference and event center, as well as an 18-hole Tom Fazio designed golf course.

This facility marks Nutex’s 23rd location in the United States.  Founded in 2011, Nutex Health is a premier service provider and management firm in the Micro-hospital and Freestanding Emergency Room (FSER) industry.
