Fulton Homes

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded Fulton Homes the Indoor airPlus Leader Award for the fifth year in a row for 2019. Fulton Homes is dedicated to promoting a healthier, safer, and more comfortable environment for their home buyers. Their commitment to these standards continues to be recognized by the EPA.

“The public is starting to demand high standards for indoor air quality and Fulton continues to keep our buyers and their families at the forefront when we strive to achieve the standards set forth by the EPA,” said Dennis Webb, V.P. of Operations for Fulton Homes. The Indoor airPLUS Leader Award was created in 2010 to acknowledge the builders who prioritize indoor air quality. Winning this award means that the EPA recognizes that Fulton Homes is raising the bar for a future of healthy living and are committed to educating consumers on the importance of indoor air quality.

Qualifications of a newly built home must include additional safety measures against unhealthy air. The Indoor airPLUS Construction Specifications require protection of moisture control, radon resistance, pest prevention, improve HVAC systems, reduced combustion pollutants, and low-emission materials. As well as winning the Leader Award, Fulton Homes won the Leader of the Year Award in 2018, which was the first time it had been given out to any builder. They also have shown commitment to energy efficiency as they were awarded Energy Star’s Partner of the Year the past five years in a row. The presentation of the Leader Award will be Wednesday, October 2, 2019 for the EEBA High Performance Home Summit in Denver, Colorado.
