‘Property Wars’ star merges his firm with Realty Executives Phoenix
Valley-based Realty Executives Phoenix is expanding once again with a merger with one of the Valley’s biggest names in real estate.
RedBrick Realty, which was founded by “Property Wars” star Doug Hopkins, has merged with Realty Executives to join one of the largest real estate brokerages in Arizona. RedBrick Realty will rebrand as Realty Executives and bring nearly 100 new agents to the company.
“Realty Executives is an organization synonymous with success, and my vision for the continued growth and expansion of RedBrick and its talented agent team aligns precisely with that of the company,” said Hopkins, founder and CEO of RedBrick Realty. “Under the stewardship of Joel Moyes and Jeff Hawke, Realty Executives has grown at an exponential pace and positioned itself as a clear market leader. Merging to form an even more dynamic and agent-centric company makes us thrilled to be part of this partnership,” he said.
Doug Hopkins founded RedBrick Realty in 2004 and the company has since grown to be one of the largest and most successful independent real estate agencies in the Southeast Valley. Hopkins is the star of Discovery Channel’s “Property Wars” and a popular national real estate expert, speaker and TV personality. Hopkins has successfully sold over 15,000 homes throughout his career, and in 2016 alone RedBrick Realty agents will close over $175M in sales volume.
“Our alignment with RedBrick Realty signifies a major market share expansion that includes the addition of significantly more agents and network offices throughout the Southeast Valley and the Phoenix metropolitan area,” said Joel Moyes, Realty Executives co-owner.
Realty Executives has been a top brokerage in the Valley for decades as 20 percent of its agents rank in the Top 500 Phoenix Agents List year after year.
This year, Realty Executives Phoenix grew by more than 20 percent, adding over 300 new agents and opening three new offices; Pinnacle Peak, Gilbert and Downtown Ocotillo Chandler. Year over year, the company has significantly boosted revenues and is on track to close nearly $3 Billion dollars in sales volume for 2016.
As part of the merger with RedBrick Realty, Realty Executives will open a brand-new, state-of-the-art office in 2017 anchored by Doug Hopkins located in Northeast Mesa.
“Synergy, knowledge, integrity and relationships is what it is all about,” Hopkins said. “I couldn’t be more excited to join forces with the Realty Executives team. They truly share the same vision and we look forward to enhance the legacy of Realty Executives as the premier home for Arizona’s top agents,” he said.
