LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the USGBC’s leading rating system for designing and constructing the world’s greenest, most energy-efficient and high-performing buildings. LEED is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for virtually all building types, LEED provides a framework for healthy, efficient, and cost-saving green buildings.

Opened in March 2021, The Ryan is a 332 unit, 17-story high-rise that is part of the mixed-use Block 23 at CityScape. This high profile downtown project also includes 230,000 square feet of creative office space, 14,000 square feet of restaurant and retail spaces, and a multi-level Fry’s Marketplace along with above- and below-grade parking. Developed by StreetLights and MetLife Investment Management, MetLife’s institutional asset management business, residents of The Ryan have direct access to a diverse and dynamic mix of tenants within the development including Fry’s, the first full-service grocery store downtown; Blanco Cocina + Cantina, a Fox Restaurant Concept (FRC); Ingo’s Tasty Food, a LGO Hospitality restaurant; and Chase Bank.
Located in the lively urban environment of downtown Phoenix, The Ryan is an upscale, artistically conceptualized apartment community offering studio, one- and two-bedroom residences complimented by a variety of modern, distinctive amenities. The sophisticated interiors include stone countertops, wood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, custom cabinetry, and a balcony in every unit. Built-in SONOS® speakers, wine refrigerators and front load washer and dryers are among some of the additional features included within the units, as well as built-in desks and urban mudrooms.

StreetLights Creative Studio led in the urban planning and concept design of The Ryan, working with the design teams of OMNIPLAN, Perkins + Will and Ink & Oro. Whiting Turner was the project’s general contractor. Greystar Residential is the property manager.
