Westwood forms water resources group
Westwood Professional Services, Inc. (Westwood), a national multi-disciplined professional surveying and engineering services firm, has formed a water resources group. The water resources group enhances the firm’s engineering services with permitting and technical support for construction and permanent stormwater management on land and power generation projects nationwide.
Westwood’s newly appointed Water Resources Manager, Tom Miller, credits the formation of the group to the increased demand for specialized water resources services from existing clients. He says, “Westwood has provided water resource related services for years, but the opportunities have grown. The rules for stormwater design are constantly changing at the local, state, and national levels, so it is beneficial to our clients to have the expertise in-house in order to quickly and effectively meet the permitting requirements on their projects.”
Miller is a professional engineer and LEED accredited professional with a broad history of public and private consulting experience across the nation. Technical Director, Aaron Mlynek, oversees the construction stormwater compliance efforts for the group. Mlynek focuses on implementing the highest level of construction stormwater compliance service standards for Westwood clients nationwide.
