The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks, @LosDbacks) have the lowest Fan Cost Index ($126.89) in Major League Baseball for the ninth consecutive season, it was announced by Team Marketing Report.
The D-backs finished almost $85 below the industry average of $211.68. The Fan Cost Index is a representative look at the costs for a family of four to attend a MLB game. It has been computed annually by Team Marketing Report since 1991 and is comprised of four average tickets, two beers, four soft drinks, four hot dogs, parking for one car and two adult-sized hats.

The Arizona Diamondbacks average ticket price of $17.98 for the 2015 season ranked second-lowest among all Major League clubs. The D-backs are nearly $11 below the MLB average ticket price of $28.94 in 2015. The D-backs Value Pack allows fans to purchase an Infield Reserve or Bleacher ticket, regular-size hot dog or a SUBWAY ® sandwich, 24-ounce Pepsi and SUBWAY® restaurants cookie for just $19 and $25, respectively, to any regular-season game at Chase Field.

“It is our goal to always have affordable options for our fans at Chase Field and we take great pride in having the lowest Fan Cost Index in baseball year after year,” said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. “We are particularly proud that we were able to keep our average ticket price flat and stay so far below the league average while adding several new amenities this season in the dining and merchandise experience at the ballpark.”

All-You-Can-Eat Seats are available starting at $34 and include unlimited access to ballpark traditions such as hot dogs, chips, popcorn, peanuts, water and Pepsi soft drinks in a special section on the Diamond Level. The D-backs also offer Value Item pricing on six food items ranging from $1.50-$4 at various concession locations and several merchandise items priced below $10 are available at Team Shop locations throughout Chase Field. The team’s magazine, D-backs Insider, is also distributed free to all fans in the ballpark during each homestand.

In addition, the D-backs offer the best price for beer in baseball at $4, which is almost $2 below the MLB average beer price at $5.98.

This offseason, the team made significant investments into the fan experience at Chase Field, drastically improving the dining and merchandise experience without altering the team’s spot atop the Fan Cost Index rankings.
