Steptoe & Johnson LLP announced, Monday, the promotion of 10 lawyers in three of its offices.

Alan Bayless Feldman was named a new partner in Steptoe & Johnson’s Phoenix offices. He focuses his practice on labor relation and employment law.

Bayless Feldman represents clients across the nation for collective bargaining, union organizing campaigns and unfair labor practice allegations.

Other duties include counseling employers with employee handbooks and policies, management training and employee discipline while defending employers in actions involving wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment and other employment related claims.

His general commercial litigation experience includes various matters involving contract disputes and business torts.

Bayless Feldman’s trial experience includes successfully defending clients in unfair labor practice proceedings and receiving favorable decisions in cases involving employee/independent contractor claims and the enforceability of non-compete agreements.

He received his J.D., cum laude, from Arizona State University where he was a Pedrick Scholar and note and comment editor for Jurimetrics: The Journal of Law, Science, and Technology.  He received his B.S. from the University of Arizona.

Three other lawyers were elected to the partnership:
