Law firm Fennemore Craig announced the election of James Goodnow, a director and shareholder, as the newest member of the firm’s five-person management committee, succeeding Tim Berg, who served for over ten years.

“We congratulate James on his appointment to serve on the firm’s Management Committee and thank Tim for his leadership and contributions as a member of the committee for so many years ,” said Steve Good, managing partner of Fennemore Craig.

Goodnow is admitted to practice in Arizona, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Illinois and New York. He handles catastrophic injury, wrongful death and technology-related legal matters. He chairs Fennemore Craig’s Diversity and Retention Council, and helps new lawyers sharpen their litigation skills as co-chair of the firm’s Advocacy Training Program.

He serves as a board member of the National Kidney Foundation of Arizona and handles countless cases on behalf of clients pro-bono every year. He served pro-bono as a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Pro Tempore and has been recognized for his knowledge of technology and the law.

Goodnow earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School and his B.S. from Santa Clara University. He frequently provides legal commentary and analysis to national and local media.
