Daum Commercial Real Estate Services negotiated the $1.3 million purchase by New America School of a 14,000-square-foot facility and parking lot on 2.26 acres at 3024 E. Fillmore St. in Phoenix.

The Daum Phoenix team of Bob Lundstedt, Chris Rogers and Trevor McKendry represented the buyer, New America School.

The seller was Vicki A. Romero High School of Phoenix and represented by Ryan Leavitt and Chris Hollenbeck of Cushman & Wakefield’s Phoenix office.

New America School purchased the former school site to add a 14,250-square-foot building that will include 11 learning studios and a highly-designed student commons area. The school will feature a strong wireless infrastructure with extensive audio-visual technology, writable walls and learning spaces with flexible furniture.

The New America School is a tuition-free, public charter high school created to support traditionally under-served students with the educational tools and support to maximize their potential and be “future-ready” for college, community and civic life.
