Derek Jarr, CEO of Green Street Communities, INC. (GSC) announced the recent hires of David Brantner as Construction Operations Manager and Larry Gamso as Construction and Land Development Specialist. Both individuals join a dedicated team of designers, contractors, architects and sales associates working to provide timeless and high-quality residential development projects.

“Green Street Communities is always preparing for the next opportunities within our industry and the recent hires of Larry and David mean we are even better positioned for market fluctuations,” said Jarr. “Their experience significantly increases our capabilities – allowing us to do more of what we’re currently succeeding in – as well as expanding to new types of projects.”

Brantner brings nearly 20 years of professional experience in the construction and management industry to his new position at GSC. He previously served as Construction Manager for Fairway Homes for six years focusing on new home builds and remodels. Prior to that he was the vice president of Earlie Homes and Associates for twelve years and served on Scottsdale’s Development Review Board from 2006 to 2010. He currently serves on the Scottsdale Planning Commission.

His role as Construction Operations Manager at GSC will include managing new projects in Phoenix and Arcadia as well as incorporating emerging construction trends into new builds.

Gamso’s 30 years of construction and development experience at Amberwood Development, Inc. as the Vice President of Land Acquisition and Development and as part of the senior leadership team makes him well qualified to lead at GSC.

His role as construction and land development specialist at GSC will include overseeing “horizontal” construction, or the permitting, land acquisition and site preparation for new projects.

Brantner and Gamso join Marc Nassos’ team. He is the head of construction and development at Green Street Communities and brings over 11 years home building experience for both new custom and production homes. Nassos’s experience combined with Brantner and Gamso’s capabilities further solidifies Green Street Communities’ long-term presence.

“During the past two years we have evolved from singularly focusing on improving existing projects and neighborhoods and expanded to new home construction,” said Nassos. “Larry and David will allow us to quickly overcome new challenges that come with land acquisition, infill sites and incorporating new construction building trends to capitalize on opportunities for our homeowners and investors.”
