Tucson Fashion Week 2013

Tucson Fashion Week will hit the scene this fall in a glorious three-day blaze of style, art, celebrities and cuisine. Creative Directors Paula Taylor and Melanie Sutton of the House of PM have taken Tucson Fashion Week to the next level and are committed to the idea that through fashion events, charitable partnerships, unique experiences and iconic collaborations, Tucson will take its place as a key player on the national fashion and retail landscape.

To that end, they have produced a series of outstanding events for Tucson Fashion Week that will take place October 17 – 19 at three distinct venues. Tucson Fashion Week will provide a professional platform for emerging designers, independent retailers and established companies to showcase their work locally and nationally to consumers, buyers and industry leaders without leaving their own backyard.

All participants will take place in a competitive professional show and be provided with constructive feedback. The winners can expect prizes such as cash awards, scholarship funds, and meetings with designers, manufacturers and business people. In addition to expanding the creative and business platforms for designers, hairstylists, and makeup artists, TFW uniquely combines creative culinary efforts with fashion. Here is a snapshot of the week:
