Pennsylvania-based Heckmann Corp. signed a 20,162 SF lease at The Pinnacle in Kierland I, 14624 N. Scottsdale Rd., Scottsdale.

The 10-year lease commences in 3Q 2013. The space is in shell condition and the tenant has been provided tenant improvement monies to finish the space.

Lee & Associates Principals Jim Watkins, Craig Coppola and Andrew Cheney worked on behalf of the property owner, Scottsdale Kierland Property LLC of Scottsdale. Heckmann Corp. was represented by Chuck Nixon of CBRE.

Heckmann Corp. is an environmental solutions company that focuses on the delivery, collection, treatment, recycling, and disposal of restricted solids, water, waste water, used motor oil, spent antifreeze, waste fluids and hydrocarbons.

The Pinnacle in Kierland I building features 81,000 SF of Class A office space in a three-story building. Built in 1999, the property features 5/1,000 parking ratio, a 30-foot water fountain and a two-level parking structure. The building is of part of the larger Pinnacle development featuring four buildings totalling 483,000 SF.

The location borders Scottsdale Airpark, the Valley’s second-largest employment center and is adjacent to the popular shopping and entertainment destinations of Kierland and the Scottsdale Quarter.
