The Arizona Builders’ Alliance has hired Erica Lange as assistant executive director, replacing Carol McMullen, who will be retiring at the end of 2013 and has been with the association for more than 30 years.
The ABA is a trade association that exists for the purpose of advancing the productivity and profitability of its members and the construction industry.
Lange will be responsible for advancing the recruitment and retention of association members, enhancing the ABA’s social media and branding programs, and working on public relations efforts. She will also be working on events, seminars, and educational programs offered by the association.
Lange spent 16 years with McGraw-Hill Construction, providing clients with marketing solutions through advertising, events, and online options with Engineering News Record in a 4-state region.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Wisconsin- Whitewater and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Phoenix.
The Arizona Builders’ Alliance is a non-profit trade assoiation representing approximately 350 construction companies. Membership includes contractors, subcontractors, and affiliates.
The association’s efforts help members stay abreast of current legislation and provides advocacy for legislation. It also provides members with networking opportunities, educational programs, and craft training.
