Caretaker Landscape recently announced Cherie Koester as its director of environmental compliance.
Koester’s background includes five years working for Maricopa County as a dust control inspector. She received her Masters of Science in international environmental technology management and sustainability from Arizona State University. She is a qualified preparer of storm water pollution prevention plans and is EPA Method 9 Visible Emission Certified. She has experience leading public education presentations on particulate matter pollution, dust control regulations and the necessities of staying in compliance with federal and local air pollution laws.
Koester previously served as an assistant store manager of a health and nutrition family owned business. This is where she found her passion for the environment, health and safety.
