Hunter Contracting Co. names new president

Hunter Contracting Co. (Hunter) announced that Chuck English, who has been with the heavy site/civil construction company for more than 33 years, has been promoted to President.

English will oversee Hunter’s day-to-day operations focusing on planning for success, aligning Hunter’s resources with project requirements, and developing future business opportunities.

“I selected Chuck for his understanding of three things: familiarity of clients and market conditions in Phoenix and Tucson, deep understanding of contract requirements, and innate planning capabilities,” said Hunter’s CEO Max Taddei.

Wonderspaces adds general manager and marketing manager

To support the operations and marketing efforts of its first permanent location, Wonderspaces has hired Leilani Hudson and Taylor Flamini as General Manager and Marketing Manager. Both are well connected in the local marketing and art world and will help launch “Point of View,” the organization’s inaugural show at Scottsdale Fashion Square. The immersive art show opens April 5 and will feature extraordinary work from 13 world-renowned artists. 

“Both Leilani and Taylor bring valuable skills and fresh perspectives to our team here in Arizona,” said Wonderspaces Co-founder Jason Shin. “With Leilani’s experience in the Phoenix art community and Taylor’s knowledge of the marketing landscape here, we are confident they will help make our first permanent location a success.” 

Hudson brings more than a decade of experience in the art industry to the Wonderspaces team. Previously, Hudson held the Audience Development Manager position at the Phoenix Art Museum. 

“Coming from an art museum, I was excited to learn about Wonderspaces and the new concept they’re bringing into the Phoenix art community,” said Hudson. “I see a lot of amazing possibilities with this organization and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”

Sarkissian has opened UPFRONT

Jessica Sarkissian, AICP has opened UPFRONT Planning & Entitlements, LLC in Mesa, AZ.  UPFRONT Planning is a private consulting firm that provides land planning and entitlements services, public outreach, due diligence, code writing and project coordination to both public and private sector clients.

Jessica has over 16 years of development experience in the valley and specializes in Rezonings, General and Comprehensive Plan amendments, variances, use permits, design review, site plan review, text amendments and public meetings and presentations. Jessica has worked on a variety of projects from small scale residential and master planned communities to commercial and industrial projects throughout Maricopa County as well as Pinal, Yavapai, Cochise and Coconino Counties.  She works successfully with engineering firms, landscape architects and land use attorneys to provide open communication and efficiency.

She is an active member of Valley Partnership and was part of the 2015-2016 Valley Partnership Advocates Graduating class, as well as is a member of Pinal Partnership and the Arizona and American Planning Associations where she is the current Chapter President for Arizona.

Jessica sits on the City of Mesa Planning and Zoning Board.  Previously she was a City of Mesa Board of Adjustment member as well as a Town of Gilbert Planning Commissioner and Zoning Hearing Officer.

Annelise Krafft joins HMA Public Relations

Annelise Krafft has joined the team at HMA Public Relations as its new account coordinator. Her responsibilities include assisting with digital communications, social media management, media relations and supporting HMA’s account executive team. 

Prior to joining HMA, Krafft developed her industry knowledge through an internship with the top advertising agency in Phoenix, OH Partners, working alongside the public relations team. In addition, Krafft worked with OH Partners’ subsidiary polling firm, OH Predictive Insights, mastering political PR in the months leading up to the 2018 midterm elections. Krafft also brings internship experience from Dignity Health, a healthcare corporation with hospitals throughout Arizona, California and Nevada. 

Krafft graduated cum laude from Northern Arizona University, earning her Bachelor of Arts in strategic communication with a dual emphasis in public relations and advertising and a minor in Spanish in December of 2017.

Scott Sullivan joins GlobalMed as chief revenue officer

GlobalMed, an international provider of virtual care solutions, today announced that it has hired Scott Sullivan as Chief Revenue Officer and SVP of Worldwide Sales.

Sullivan most recently served as SVP for Worldwide Sales & Channels for Atomiton, Inc., the leading IoT operating system for industrial solutions focused within smart cities, oil & gas, manufacturing, and transportation. He brings over two decades of sales and executive leadership experience to GlobalMed, including successful leadership of technology companies that have defined or redefined markets in IoT, cloud, security and big data analytics.

 In his new role at GlobalMed, Sullivan will leverage his decades of executive experience leading global sales and channel efforts, and bring a tech savvy, team builder approach to lead revenue generation activities for marketing, sales, and customer support. His deep IoT experience will also inform GlobalMed’s roadmap for its virtual care platform and data-capturing clinical devices as they continue to expand remote patient monitoring and predictive analytics.
