Doug DeClusin, President and CEO of Sunland Asphalt, was named the 2012 Arizona Corporation Excellence CEO of the Year.
DeClusin was initially reluctant to allow the nomination by his employees, but the Sunland team insisted and submitted his name to the selection committee.
He was chosen from a select cross section of successful executives throughout Arizona that exemplify leadership, innovation and outstanding achievement in business.
Additionally, Sunland Asphalt was recognized as one of the Top 50 Arizona privately held companies.
