Dibble Engineering announced Tuesday that Tim Wolfe, PE, has joined the company as a transportation practice leader. Tim worked for 27 years at ADOT where his positions included district engineer, assistant state engineer, project director, project manager, resident engineer and project supervisor. Tim served the last six years as the Phoenix maintenance district engineer where he managed over 5,000 lane miles of urban freeway and oversaw the delivery of a $50M operations and maintenance budget. Tim’s experience with the region’s urban freeway system and his close working relationships with municipal stakeholders improves Dibble’s ability to serve federal, state, county, local and private transportation needs.

As practice leader, Tim is responsible for the transportation practice’s business performance and ensuring conformance to Dibble’s goals in providing quality, timely and value-priced consulting services. He brings 30 years of experience in project management, traffic engineering, intelligent transportation systems, highway construction, operations and maintenance.

Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in civil engineering from Arizona State University. He is a registered civil engineer in Arizona.
