NAI Horizon announced Troy Giammarco as the newest addition to its office division.
Giammarco brings 30 years of construction, development and real estate experience, with the past 20 years spent in commercial brokerage. His career started in New York City with Williams/GVA Advantis where he rose to the position of director.
In 1996, his team closed one of the top-20 largest deals in Downtown Manhattan at the World Trade Center, representing Frenkel & Co’s 50,000 SF headquarters. In 1997 his team closed one of the top-25 largest Midtown transactions, representing Bayerische Vereinsbank’s 150,000 SF North American headquarters.
Giammarco then joined Insignia/ESG where he continued local, regional and national representation of Fortune 500 Companies, foreign banks, law firms and foreign governments.
He was one of the founding members of Insignia/ESG’s National Telecom team performing switch roll outs and colocation facilities. He was also part of the initial Barclays Bank team working on their 250,000 SF national headquarters. He transferred to Insignia’s Miami office in 2001 continuing his tenant representation and expanding into landlord agency work, where his team won more than 3 MSF in 24 months.
In 2004, he became managing director in Newmark Knight Frank’s Miami office where he developed more than 2 MSF of agency work and assisted in training new brokers. In 2006, he left to join a private holdings firm as vice president, performing due diligence asset management and leasing for their Southeast U.S. portfolio.
Thad Seligman, President and CEO of NAI Horizon, is continuing to expand NAI’s office market coverage with the addition of Giammarco.
