Matthew Hesketh, an attorney at Sherman & Howard, joined the board of directors of the Arizona Educational Foundation (AEF).
AEF is a local nonprofit dedicated to the development and celebration of excellence in pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade public education throughout Arizona.
“AEF’s board of directors is an incredible group of dedicated individuals who truly understand the power of recognizing and celebrating excellence in students, teachers, administrators and schools across our state,” said AEF Executive Director Bobbie O’Boyle. “We’re thrilled to welcome Matt to the board.”
Hesketh strongly supports AEF’s mission to recognize and promote excellence in public education.
“My mom was a public school teacher for over 30 years, and many of my friends and family members teach in public schools. I know firsthand their dedication and hard work. And I know the meaningful impact they have on our community. We have amazing teachers in Arizona, and I am honored and excited to join with AEF in recognizing their contributions,” Hesketh said.
Hesketh is an associate in Sherman & Howard’s Trial and Litigation Practice Group in Phoenix. His practice focuses primarily on contractual disputes, corporate and business matters, administrative law and appellate litigation.
He joined Sherman & Howard in 2010. He is also a member of the Horace Rumpole Inn of Court and is a member of the Phoenix Community Alliance (PCA) and serves on its Next Gen Committee.
