Today’s spotlight: Julie DiCicco
Title: Senior director, Freedom Financial Network
DiCicco leads the Negotiations Department at Freedom Debt Relief, helping clients achieve financial freedom. Before joining the company, Julie held leadership positions with Discover Card and Target Financial Services. Julie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Arizona State University.
Source of pride: “I have spent most of my career in similar industries, but a few years ago, I took a position in an industry completely out of my comfort zone. It was a steep learning curve, but within six months, I developed the top performing team in a field full of veteran leaders in this industry.”
The personality trait that helped you succeed: “I have an insatiable curious nature. I ask a lot of questions and seek to understand why things are the way they are and when something doesn’t make sense to me, I challenge it.”
The personality trait that got you into trouble: “I am very confident and sure of my abilities and I pursue ideas with a lot of urgency and determination. This has sometimes come across as being a bit of a bulldozer.”
Best childhood memory: “Spending time with my dad. I have wanted to be a ‘business woman’ since I was a little girl and my dad was my biggest supporter.”
