Background: Musselman joined Vitalant in 2020, bringing more than 25 years of diverse financial leadership experience, including many years with American Express, and most recently in an executive leadership role with a large Phoenix-based nonprofit. As CFO, she directs the organization’s financial strategies and oversees the accounting and finance functions, risk management and internal audit.
Attraction to industry: “My father had a CPA firm and from a very young age, I worked in his business, whether it was janitorial or assembling tax returns.”
Best part of the job: “What I enjoy most about my role is I really like working with the business on their strategy, helping to find a way that we can achieve the goals they want to achieve, helping them make good decisions based on the financial facts and ensuring that they have what they need to be successful.”
