Region manager

JPMorgan Chase & Co.

She has been with Chase since 2010 and relocated to Phoenix from Las Vegas in 2018. Ackaert and her team work with public and privately held companies to provide financial solutions both domestically and internationally that help them grow to their full potential. Professional advice: “Take chances such as relocation, stretch opportunities or lateral roles, even outside your comfort zone. Several times in my career I have moved into roles that I didn’t think I was ready for on paper.  In hindsight, I am so glad I did because it led me to where I am today.”

Lesson learned: “Our current situation presents challenges that I haven’t faced before. It has driven new ways of working and creative approaches to problem-solving—and we’re more connected than ever through remote meeting technology. It has also taught me to be more resilient and flexible when approaching situations, which has helped me to become a stronger leader.”

Surprising fact: “I love to cook because I find it relaxing. It’s like my own version of meditation. It also gives me the opportunity to try new things. I feel a real sense of calm when I have a stocked freezer and pantry full of healthy, homemade meals.”
