The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks @LosDbacks) announced their 2019 regular season schedule today and will host the Boston Red Sox for the home opener on Friday, April 5. It will be the second time in franchise history the D-backs have hosted the Red Sox at Chase Field (also 2007). The D-backs will also host the New York Yankees at Chase Field for the first time since 2016 with a two-game set on April 30 and May 1 and will be the fourth time the Yankees have visited Chase Field during the regular season. The team will begin the season on the road for the first time since 2011, with a series against the Los Angeles Dodgers beginning on March 28.

The D-backs are home for Mother’s Day (May 12 vs. Braves), Labor Day (Sept. 2 vs. Padres) and will host a Fourth of July fireworks spectacular on July 5 (vs. Rockies). The D-backs will also host the Chicago Cubs for a weekend series April 26-28.
Interleague Play will consist of four home matchups against the Boston Red Sox (April 5-7), Texas Rangers (April 9-10), New York Yankees (April 30-May 1) and Baltimore Orioles (July 22-24). The team will make trips to face the Tampa Bay Rays (May 6-8), Toronto Blue Jays (June 7-9), Rangers (July 16-17) and Yankees (July 30-31).
The D-backs will close the 2019 regular season at home with a three-game series vs. the Padres Sept. 27-29.
