Pegasus Tech Ventures, in collaboration with local partners, Freeway and Ethical Spectacle Research, announced the inaugural Startup World Cup event in Phoenix, Arizona, scheduled for September 27th, 2024. This prestigious global startup competition will be hosted at Galvanize Phoenix, aiming to position Phoenix as a pivotal hub in the tech and innovation landscape dubbed “the Silicon Desert.”

The event is part of the Startup World Cup global series, which brings together top startups, VCs, entrepreneurs, and world-class tech CEOs from around the world. Promising startups will first compete at regional events, with regional finalists showcasing themselves at the Grand Finale event, on October 4th, 2024 in San Francisco, where they will vie for a US$1,000,000 investment prize.

Startup World Cup Phoenix will coincide with Freeway’s Fall Tech Talent Summit, facilitating connections between Arizona’s top talent and leading companies across various technology innovation sectors.
