Whether it’s donning festive fall flare for employees or scaring customers like they just don’t care, one thing is for sure: the Valley is having a hauntingly delightful Halloween season. Take a look at a few Metro Phoenix companies and locales that have really embraced the spirit (or spirits?) of autumn’s best, bewarest holiday.

Camelback Moving

Camelback Moving’s Owner, Chad Olsen, is known for his hands-on approach — working with the local community, and his holiday celebratory spirit — as exemplified in the company’s spooktacular Halloween decor.

Drink Me! Tea Room

Drink Me! Tea Room is pulling out all the scary stops with their “Hocus Pocus Literary Tea” extravaganza. Fans of “Hocus Pocus” will love the aura and atmosphere of the creepily cute Tea Room’s set-up. And, on All Hallows’ Eve, guests can partake in a Hocus-Pocus-inspired afternoon tea service: Wed., Oct. 19 through Sunday, Oct. 30 with reservations available from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm. Reservations include a pot of tea in any flavor, as well as gluten-free and plant-based savories and sweets. Dressing up in theme is highly encouraged for Phoenix Halloween at Drink Me! Tea Room!

Luckys Indoor Outdoor

When the holidays come around, Luckys is dead-on when it comes to decor. And this Halloween, patrons of the spookeasy can crash their five-day party event Thurs. Oct. 27 through Mon., Oct. 31, with spooky-themed cocktails like the Vodka Count Stagula and Spooky Midori Sour, along with bands and/or DJs every night amidst plenty of cobwebs, inflatables and ghoulish creatures in almost every nook and cranny.

Pumpkin Patch at Desert Ridge Marketplace

Beginning Friday, Oct. 14, Desert Ridge Marketplace in North Phoenix kicked offPhoenix Halloween with its fourth annual Pumpkin Patch — this time with a retro twist! The pumpkin patch will be on the property through Oct. 30. For families looking to make Halloween season’s squash even more gourdgeous, there happens to be a painting station. There are also plenty more fall decorations to enjoy throughout the marketplace.

Glendale’s Halloween Hometown Happening

Head over to downtown Glendale (if you dare!) on Saturday Oct. 29, starting at 10 a.m. In addition to Halloween-themed menu specials at favorite eateries, ghouls and boys of all ages can enjoy seasonal gifts at local boutiques and specialty stores. But that’s not all! Bring your favorite festively-dressed fido or feline to enter in a pet costume contest. There are also Halloween family photo stations, a Glendale Charm Bracelet Event, and much more.

Queen Creek Olive Mill

The Queen Creek Olive Mill is hosting a Spooky Sangria Social Saturday, October 29 complete with seasonal-inspired house made sangria served from a cauldron and a costume contest. Guests ages 21 and older who show up in in their Halloween best (in costume!) can take advantage of $2 prosecco Jell-O shots. Di Olivia Restaurant & Bar will also be serving specials and are offering a carafe of sangria and an antipasto board for $38 (over $10 in savings).

Bug Fest in the AZ Boardwalk Courtyard

You can’t have Halloween without creepy crawlies, and AZ Boardwalk is happy to oblige. On Oct. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., families can attend Bug Fest 2022. This year’s fun and free event, invites two-legged guests to gander at multiple-appendaged creatures. Attendees are even encouraged to come dressed as a favorite bug to be entered to win from several prizes. Enjoy cockroach races, a Bug Zoo Station featuring an array of fascinating bugs, children’s craft activities, photo opps while holding a Madagascar Hissing Cockroach at the “Hissing Booth,” and edible insect tastings. And, don’t miss magical butterfly releases at the top of each hour.
