Wondering where you can see fireworks on July 4th in Metro Phoenix this year? Given it’s one of the few times a year to enjoy them, make it a memorable experience with these five out-of-the-ordinary places to sit back, relax and enjoy a colorful July 4th fireworks show with friends and family in the Valley of the Sun.

Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Ready for a good time? Then join the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess for an activity-filled weekend celebrating the holiday. Their 8th Annual Fourth of July Freedom Fest is back and better than ever– nightly fireworks from July 3-July 6 (try and grab a spot on the Lagoon Lawn or Sunset Beach for the best view), live concerts, American food options, military tributes and a vintage air show. And don’t miss poolside fun with dive-in movies on Sunset Beach from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 3-July 6 including the Lego movies (The Lego Movie; The Lego Movie 2; The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Ninjago Movie), you won’t want to miss it!

Chase Field

There’s little more that reminds us of July 4th than baseball and a hot dog–and Chase Field is just the place to get the best of entertainment and food. Take in a baseball game and cheer on the Diamondbacks at home on Friday, July 5 against the Colorado Rockies and watch the Fireworks Spectacular show after the game. First pitch is at 6:10 p.m. Enjoy great food through the evening (like their shareable Reuben Dog–an 18 inch Schreiner’s hot dog on a 16-inch hot dog bun with Reuben mac and cheese, fried pickles, secret sauce and green onion or the 505 Southwestern Fry Bread Taco.) If you’re still hungry for dessert, try their churro dog or chicken and donuts served with maple syrup for a savory and sweet combination.

WestWorld

Celebrate the 4th like never before at WestWorld’s indoor patriotic wonderland. Scottsdale’s 4th of July celebration at WestWorld is from 4 to 9 p.m. in their indoor (and fully air-conditioned!) 300,000 square foot Tony Nelssen Equestrian Center. Enjoy a multitude of activities for the whole family including a live DJ dance party, temporary tattoos, stunt dog show, Kids Zone with a Ferris wheel and obstacle course; pony rides and petting zoo and more, and find the perfect spot afterward to watch the fireworks show at 9 p.m.

Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix

Fireworks at a waterpark? It’s happening. Bring your sunscreen and spend the 4th at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor Phoenix and cool off with a variety of family, kids and thrill water rides like Splash Island and Beach, Wahoo Racers, Adventure River and Tornado. Take a break between rides for lunch or dinner and try their All-American food options including burgers, chicken, hot dogs and fries; and enjoy fireworks after a fun day at the water park. Firework shows are on July 3 and July 4, are free with park admission and begin about 15 minutes prior to closing time.

Westgate Firework Fest

Make Westgate Entertainment District your July 4 destination this year. Celebrate at Firework Fest on July 4 from 5-9:30 p.m. Enjoy live music, a beer garden in the plaza, games and activities, and for the kids, a water and foam zone and plenty of dining options at more than 20 restaurants. After all the activities and dinner, sit back and watch the fireworks show at 9 p.m. Firework Fest is free with parking around Westgate. Be sure to bring blankets or a few lawn chairs to relax and watch the fireworks show.
