Summer is a great time to try new things in your life and in your home. Here are a couple of things you can do to make big changes in your home:
Lucite living
I love using Lucite chairs in any style of home. Whether it be modern, traditional or eclectic, Lucite chairs are great! My favorite area to use these fun “ghost-like” chairs is in the kitchen or eating area of the home.
I love them especially if you have little ones that make a mess; you don’t have to worry about them getting stained or damaged. You can wipe them down with a cloth to clean them after use. They are also great in small spaces because you can see right through them!
Primping the powder room
One of my favorite rooms in a house has always been the powder room. I love it because it is such a small space that you can experiment and try new things there first to see how you like it.
It’s fun to buy a new mirror or accessories. I always love using a crazy wallpaper or painting the walls something different than the rest of the home. It’s great to design the powder room to make it the jewel box of your home.
Fun & funky furniture
During summer, everyone spends a lot of time lounging by the pool and being outside. So make sure your outdoor furniture is not only durable, but make sure it’s fun! I love mixing and matching patterns, color and even brands. Don’t be afraid — outdoors is where we all have fun; let your outdoor furniture have fun, too!
