It’s gonna be a hot week — and we’re not just talking about global warming’s effects on our sweltering desert. Two of our biggest musical heartthrobs are in town this week: Justin Timberlake and Paul McCartney. Plus, there will be some serious grape stomping and theatrical Tombstone shenanigans to get in on!

8/9: Justin Timberlake
Whether you loved him when he had those tight, frosted curls or are more partial to his current dapper style, the ever versatile performer Justin Timberlake is landing in the Phoenix Metro this weekend. Everyone who can fit into Jobing.com Arena will be there for the “20/20 Experience” of Mr. Timberlake. Hello, the awards and nominations he’s received has its own Wikipedia page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_awards_and_nominations_received_by_Justin_Timberlake
Jobing.com Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., Glendale, Saturday, August 9, 8 p.m., $65 to $205

8/9: Rage in the Cage
Mixed-martial arts (MMA) has always had a special place in Phoenix — and worlds collide when the second-longest running MMA Promotion in the world, Rage in the Cage, hits Celebrity Theatre. Two guys enter, only one exits (as a winner). Plus: Rage babes.
Celebrity Theatre, 440 N. 32nd St., Phoenix, Saturday, August 9, 7:30 p.m., $30 to $93

8/10-11: 8th annual Grape Stomp
We think Lucille Ball tells this story better than us (see above video). Stomp to your toes’ content at Coronado Vineyards, taste some wine stomped by others before you and take home a $15 wine glass.
Coronado Vineyards, 2909 E. Country Club Dr., Willcox, Sunday and Monday, August 10 and 11, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., $15

8/12: Paul McCartney’s “Out There” Tour
Let good ol’ P-Mac do what he does best — be it as a Beatle, a Wing or his solo work. He’s one of the most loved and celebrated musicians “Out There.” He even plays some mean air guitar! (see below)
US Airways Center, 201 E. Jefferson St., Phoenix, Tuesday, August 12, $36 to $267

8/8-10: 66th annual Vigilante Days
The Wild West is always alive and well in Tombstone, Ariz. After all, it is “the town too tough to die.” However, this weekend will feature a few extra events — namely an 1800s fashion show, 10K, shoot-outs (maybe more than usual), hangings, a chili cook-off and saloon girls. Lots and lots of saloon girls.
Friday to Sunday, August 8 to 10, times vary, free
