It’s the gift every craft beer lover wants for the holidays — tickets to the 20th Annual Arizona Strong Beer Festival, presented by the Arizona Craft Brewers’ Guild. The Arizona Strong Beer Festival will take place Sat., Feb. 8 from 1–5 p.m. at Steele Indian School Park, 300 E. Indian School Road in Phoenix.

Tickets go on sale Nov. 29, Black Friday, beginning at 5 a.m. For four days only, Black Friday through Cyber Monday, ticket prices for the festival start at just $40. The deepest discounts are available for on-premise ticket sales at the Guild office in Tempe as well as brewery and beer bar locations throughout the Valley. General admission ticket prices increase to $64.33 beginning Tues., Dec. 3.

Tickets include a commemorative tasting cup and 30 drink tickets. More than 500 craft brews from 130 breweries will be on tap to sample during the event.

Gift givers and festival attendees alike can purchase tickets and festival merchandise and tickets at the Arizona Craft Brewers’ Guild Office, located at 201 E. Southern Ave. #109, in Tempe, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Black Friday.

“The only gift better than tickets to the Arizona Strong Beer Festival is tickets that come with a Festival t-shirt or hat,” says Rob Fullmer, Executive Director of the Arizona Craft Brewers Guild. “Locals can visit the Guild office on Black Friday for the best ticket prices in town plus Arizona Strong Beer Festival and Arizona Beer Week swag you won’t find anywhere else.”

“You have to act fast if you want to score tickets to the best beer festival of the year, especially with this year’s added collaborations” says Fullmer. “Our VIP tickets typically sell out well before the new year.”

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Arizona Strong Beer Festival, brewers are scheduled to create 20 collaboration beers with breweries within the state and across the country.

Discounted tickets, with no online fees, will be available at the following brewery and bar locations from Fri., Nov. 29 through Mon., Dec. 2: 8-bit Aleworks, 12 West Brewing Co., Arizona Wilderness, Bone Haus  Brewing Co., Brewers Connections, Front Pourch Brewing Co., Growlers USA – High Street, Hungry Monk, Huss Brewing Co., Lumberyard Brewing Co., Oro Brewing Co., Tap & Bottle, and Throne Brewing Co.

A limited number of VIP tickets that provide entry to the event at 11:30 a.m. are available for $70 during the Black Friday sale (in-person only). VIP tickets also include a food voucher, access to the VIP area with a private restroom, Arizona Beer Week swag, access to Fry’s Food Stores Arizona Taproom specialty beers, and a Fry’s Food Stores swag bag. Beginning Dec. 3, the VIP ticket price will increase to $85.42.

The 2020 event also features a limited supply of Super VIP tickets, which include everything that comes with the VIP admission plus Friday wristband pickup, express Saturday entry, Strong Beer Fest 20th Anniversary glassware and admission to a Sunday Brunch Brewers Reception. Super VIP tickets will be $90 during the Black Friday through Cyber Monday sale. The price increases to $106.51 on Tues., Dec. 3.

A complete beer list will be available on the social beer app, Untappd, allowing festival goers an in-depth look at the offerings before the festival begins.
