Mane Attraction Salon celebrates 40 years of beauty with deals
Dust off your bell-bottoms and put on your tube top, because the 1970s are back in style at Mane Attraction Salon (3156 E. Camelback Rd., 602-956-2996), where they are celebrating their 40th anniversary by offering retro 1977 prices to lucky costumers. Offered November 1-30, 2017, Mane Attraction Salon (MAS) will be celebrating its milestone 40th year anniversary with special gifts and discounts, including offering every 40th patron rollback 1970s prices for his/her haircut or a select salonproduct. Additionally, each week, select products at the in-house MAS Shop will be marked 40% off of their original price.
According to Mane Attraction Salon’s husband and wife owners, Kendall and Beate Assmuth-Ong, these 40th anniversary deals are simply way their way saying thank you to all of their wonderful patrons and supporters over the past four decades. “We are honored and humbled to reach this milestone as a business,” Kendall Ong says. “We have been blessed with an incredible support network, loyal clients and hardworking dedicated staff. A heartfelt thank you to all.”
Most important, Kendall and Beate want to thank the countless customers, friends and Mane Attraction Salon staffers who have helped them raise and donate over $300,000 to save local dogs and cats from being euthanized. Hosted every spring, Beauty to the RESCUE is Mane Attraction’s annual fundraiser, where the staff offer free salon services in exchange for donations to RESCUE (Reducing Euthanasia at Shelters through Commitment and Underlying Education), a local nonprofit animal rescue organization that is seeking to end pet euthanasia in Maricopa County.
MAS first opened their doors in the fall of 1977 and moved to its current 32nd Street and Camelback location in 1981. Current owners Kendall and Beate Assmuth-Ong purchased the salon in 1998, bringing an innovative brand of hairdressing and expertise to the Phoenix beauty scene. Both Kendall and Beate started their careers with the prestigious Vidal Sassoon organization, and combined, they have more than 70 years of international experience. They have traveled the world teaching other hair stylists and designing new looks for clients, bringing that passion and dedication to education to Mane Attraction. MAS is committed to the highest standards of staff education and training, as all stylists go through an intensive 12-24 month training program.
The MAS shop is filled with items hand-picked from around the world, MAS is a proud Bumble and bumble network salon, less than 1% of salons in North America are selected to carry this exclusive line of products. The salon also carries Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup, whose products are as good for the skin as they are beautiful to wear.
