Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen today proudly opens its new location in the Arrowhead area of Glendale. The Arizona-based restaurant brand has been serving their signature Italian inspired, healthy fare since 2002. The newest location, at 8280 W Union Hills Dr., Glendale, AZ 85308, has officially opened.

Proudly offering a robust menu comprised of gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and food allergy friendly options, Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen aims to offer something for everyone. Established in Sedona, Arizona, in 2002, the Picazzo’s brand has earned the affinity of both locals and tourists. Today Picazzo’s maintains locations in Tempe, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Sedona and now Glendale, Arizona.

Over the past fifteen years, Picazzo’s has established a reputation for serving up delicious, healthy Italian including award winning gluten free pizza and pasta. In fact, they were recently recognized as the Phoenix New Times Reader’s Choice for Best Gluten Free Restaurant for the 3rd year in a row. Offering an expansive menu of culinarily inspired allergy-friendly, gluten free, vegetarian and vegan menu items; Picazzo’s aims to be a dinning destination for everyone from foodies to the healthy conscious.

Picazzo’s newest store, is located in the vibrant Arrowhead business district, at the intersection of 83rd Avenue and Union Hills. Brad Douglass of Cushman & Wakefield represented Picazzo’s in lease negotiations for the new 2,900-square-foot location. In order to achieve an inviting, comfortable feel, the space is complete with original octagon tile and gray shiplap walls. Visitors can relax on the enclosed patio, enjoy a meal in the main dining room, socialize at the community table or settle in at the full bar.

“We designed the space with the same inviting feel for which each of our locations are known, but added some new colors and textures. We hope to be the neighborhood eatery that brings the surrounding community together,” said Chris Disney, Director of Operations at Picazzo’s Healthy Italian Kitchen. 

In addition to the grand opening of their newest location, Picazzo’s has also recently completed a patio remodel at their Paradise Valley location and introduced an exclusively vegan menu. The leadership group at Picazzo’s is hard at work expanding their reach and catering to the unique dietary needs of their loyal customer base. In opening the Glendale location, they hope to make their unique take on healthy Italian fare accessible to a wider audience.
