“Miracle” is a nationally known brand of Christmas cocktail pop-up bars that has one location in Downtown Phoenix this holiday season. Their cocktail menu features nine holiday-themed drinks including a Snowball Old Fashioned, Gingerbread Flip, and Jingle Balls Nog. There are also five new dishes that will be added to the menu to accompany the drink you choose.

Blue Hound Kitchen & Cocktails is offering lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Christmas. They will be offering their regular breakfast, lunch and dinner menus and a holiday-themed entrée that includes Bluehound Porter Braised Beef Short-Rib served with Anson Mills white corn grits, confit thumbelina carrots, Worcestershire gastrique and citrus gremolata.

ZuZu, located at Hotel Valley Ho, their “Show Stopper” Shake features a delicious concoction that changes monthly. December’s drink is a Peppermint Mocha with a peppermint twist base topped with white chocolate popcorn, chocolate-covered espresso beans, peppermint bark, candy canes, holiday sprinkle mix, a peppermint-spiked ice cream sandwich, and a holiday cookie. This year they are also featuring a Mezcal Mistletoe Holiday Cocktail available until Jan. 2.

Christmas Dining at Hotel Valley Ho
The hotel will be serving a Christmas buffet in the morning with a fresh seafood bar, vanilla-bourbon ham and desserts like eggnog cheesecake and candy cane brownies. If you’d prefer dinner, ZuZu will be offering a starter buffet with an entree choice such as Maple Leaf Farm Duck Breast or a Prime Ribeye with a wide range of dessert options.

Celebrating a decade of Decembers for their tenth year celebrating Christmas at the Princess, the resort will be holding Christmas brunch. The Princess will also be having an event to ring in the new year at The Plaza Bar with entertainment and specialty cocktails.

The options can serve groups from 5 to 60 and include braised short ribs with root vegetables, wine, and balsamic vinegar, turkey breast ballotine stuffed with sage, garlic, celery, carrots, and parsley and others.

Keeler’s Neighborhood Steakhouse
The Steakhouse is celebrating the new year with its Second Annual New Year’s Eve Gala. There will be a buffet dinner, a dessert station, and live music on the rooftop deck with a champagne toast at midnight.

A very special New Year’s Eve meal will be served in The ARENA Poker Room from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. for $20. Wandering Horse will host a New Year’s Day buffet from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The buffet will offer a selection of Chef’s Carvings, American, Asian, Italian, and Mexican cuisines, and a selection of soups and desserts. Items on the menu include: American Kobe Beef Kabobs, Smoked Pork Steamship, Baked Whole Grouper, Mediterranean Orzo Pilaf, Steamed Jonah Crab Claws, Halibut Cheeks and Scallops Pasta, Carne Asada Platter, Assorted Chef’s Pastries, and Carne En Su Jugo.

Kai’s Chef de Cuisine Ryan Swanson has prepared an eight-course New Year’s Eve tasting menu that includes mesquite-smoked mangalitsa collar and a variety of baby potatoes; Queen Creek Olive Oil Poached Sturgeon with native seed crumble, preserved beet & radish garden and pepicha pesto; roulade of pheasant breast & Iberico, crispy pheasant leg, charred mustard greens and Ojibwe wild rice & ramona farms wheat berry risotto; and an entree choice of lobster tail, wheat pasta, Mulato and saffron bisque and confit of fennel; or tribal tenderloin, TOCA squash, bison lingua, Anasazi beans, bison marrow jus, blue corn posole, pickled cactus chimichurri bison tendon cracking. For dessert, enjoy warm chocolate crottin with compressed Arizona citrus and espresso hazelnut bubbles.

Guests can also celebrate with friends, family and loved ones at Kai in the days leading up to New Year’s Eve from Friday, Dec. 27 to Monday, Dec. 30 to experience Chef Swanson’s favorites arranged in two distinct tasting menus. Select from the Aji Mountain Menu with eight courses for $145 per person or the Komatke Mountain Menu with 11 courses for $200 per person. Foie gras and wine pairings can be supplemented for an additional cost.
