Sexy Roman’s sophisticated yet approachable menu tempts with handmade pastas, Raw Bar offerings like Ahi Tuna Crudo, and classic Roman dishes like saffron Suppli. This all complimented by Sexy Roman’s robust beverage program that features Italian wines, premium cocktails, and a custom-made roaming cocktail cart that guests summon using a hidden button on their tables. Sexy Roman gives guests a little tableside drama, martinis that flirt back, and Italian fare you’ll dream about.
The space has undergone a year-long wall-to-wall transformation by Alliance Hospitality Group. Step inside Sexy Roman and you’ll feel like a bon vivant who’s just returned from a lavish train tour through Italy–only now, the party is at your place. The interiors channel the charm of an Italian villa with hand-troweled plaster walls, custom artwork, and brass lighting crowned with vintage-inspired champagne glass shades. A glowing wine room greets guests at the entrance, flaunting 760 bottles backed by olive wood and encased in bronze glass.
Every detail is a deliberate indulgence: olive wood booths with integrated ice buckets, Calcutta Viola and Port Laurent stone tabletops with brass inlay; and a lounge anchored by a green velvet sofa and walnut console. The ceiling–an homage to luxury train cabins–conceals lighting that shifts from golden warmth to a sultry red as the night unfolds. It’s an elevated space designed for pleasure–tailored, timeless, and unapologetically extravagant.
Heading the kitchen is James Beard-nominated Chef Jason Franey, who plays an integral role in Sexy Roman’s menu and overall dining experience. “We’ve had tremendous success with Flint by Baltaire, and we want to continue that momentum with Sexy Roman,” says Franey.
The menu is centered on a fresh, housemade pasta program, with highlights like Leek Agnolotti with ricotta and black truffle, and Burrata-Stuffed Tortellini nestled in a rich short rib ragù. For something bold, the Veal Milanese arrives bone-in, with Kiki tomatoes and arugula dressed in lemon vinaigrette. Even the Prime Steaks offer their own kind of drama, with optional additions like Calabrian chili bomba sauce, gorgonzola cream, or a decadent scoop of burrata tortellini in black truffle cream.
