With the current CDC mandate requiring negative COVID-19 test results to re-enter the United States from abroad, Worldwide Jet is now able to offer a medically proctored rapid result test anywhere in the world.
For passengers, this means last minute flights returning to the U.S., heading to Hawaii, the Caribbean, or anywhere that requires recent negative test results, is no longer an issue. Through a telemedicine web portal and an onsite test kit, passengers obtain test results within 20 minutes. The results are sent directly to an app loaded on the passenger’s smartphone, giving them access to their Travel Pass immediately.

“We have removed the additional hurdle of ensuring you have test results within the applicable window of time, even when you need to travel at the last minute,” said Andrew Kaufman, president and CEO of Worldwide Jet.
In January 2021, Worldwide Jet began testing its crew members every 72-hours to continuously monitor the health and safety of its crews and passengers, as well as to be able to respond to last minute charter requests.
“With the services in place now, and the addition of rapid results, our testing program is simplified and provides more value to our passengers and crew members. It’s quick, safe, and efficient, and we’re proud to be the first private air charter to offer this service,” said Erica Le Barron, COVID-19 testing manager for Worldwide Jet.
Building Trust with Innovation
Based in Phoenix, Arizona, Worldwide Jet boasts a floating fleet of 12 jets, providing premier charter flights to nearly 500 destinations around the world. An industry leader in private air charter, the world-class aviation firm was on track to have one of its best years ever in 2020 until the pandemic hit.
“As we began monitoring Covid-19 in January of 2020 we immediately knew we had to be agile,” Kaufman said. “I’m so proud of all of our team members, including our COVID-19 Response Team, which continues to look for new ways to improve and innovative our COVIDCLEAN program – the safety and cleaning protocol model leading in our industry.”
After the meteoric rise in COVID-19 in March of 2020, Worldwide Jet launched its COVIDCLEAN program in April. A comprehensive list of safety protocols appears on Worldwide Jet’s website.
Staying Ahead of the Curve
Kaufman said his team is constantly assessing COVIDCLEAN protocols and adjusting protocols. As the requirements to travel are constantly changing, Worldwide Jet stays ahead of the curve by continuing to work with its partners and vendors, developing new relationships, and finding solutions which exceed the recommended standards of health and safety, and provide value to its clients and passengers.
The COVIDCLEAN program has been a key differentiator in the marketplace, helping Worldwide Jet build and maintain trust among its brokers and retail clients. The addition of these new services and tests further builds on that trust and firmly establishes Worldwide Jet as the industry leader.
